Fish Don't Dance returns to the Horse & groom on Thursday 29th October after the uber successful September installment with Jamie McHugh (Underwater / Global Underground). The October edition is gonna go off as this is not only Head Honcho Dan McKie's Birthday celebrations but also we have the house legend that is Allister Whitehead (Hacienda / Toolroom / Cream) playing his first gig in London in over 6 years.

Allister Whitehead first started Djing at the tender age seventeen and quickly came through the ranks to play regular guest spots at seminal clubs such as The Hacienda in Manchester, The Garage in Nottingham, Ministry Of Sound in London and eventually at Cream in Liverpool where his reputation was cemented as one the best DJs in the UK. However it was Allister's mixes for The Fantazia Compilations that catapulted him into the dance music history books and to the top of the UK album charts. Since then Allister has remixed some of the worlds biggest artists and toured all over the globe playing his brand of house music that's still sort after today.
Allister had great success with releases on Mark Knight's famed Toolroom Record label and as a result is now developing two new Dance labels of his own which showcase not only his talent but up and coming artists, as well as some of the legends that have defined dance music with their remix work and productions. Look forward to seeing the first releases later in 2009/2010.

Also joining Allister on the line up is friend of 1980 Recordings, Phil England. Phil is in town to do a mini whirlwind tour of Fish Don't Dance and the Gallery @ Ministry Of Sound the night after. Phil is a seasoned pro having been working on the UK circuit for just over 12 years now. He currently resided in Wales where he presents a weekly weekend warm up show every Friday from 6pm to 8pm on Afan.fm.

As per this will be guaranteed to be off the hook. So get down early to avoid disappointment.
